I will be Delivering this beautiful OO to its new home in a few days! This small bodied guitar definitely has a very bold, yet intimate, sound which makes for an exceptional playing experience when coupled with the short scale and 12 fret body joint. Not quite a #macromonday but certainly a #martinmonday if that s a thing :p close up of a wonderful #D45 #brazilian. This guitar was ordered in Paris France at Paul Beuscher and remained in the original family until François Charles acquired it. We got it from him a couple years ago. It will meet its new care keeper on Wednesday. Straight grain brazilian rosewood like this is close to impossible to find nowadays.

But what is that long name this guy copied from wikipedia some may ask. It's more commonly known as #Sapele, part of the African mahogany. Some guitars leave an unforgettable mark on you. Our 1959 1st rack mono factory stop tail from the original owner who "upgraded" it shortly after he got it to a Bigsby 🙂 he didn't like it so it went back to stop tail and didn't have time to damage the watermelon color, besides the "snake bites" aka screw holes. Refret otherwise bone stock w/case.
